On October 21, in the frame of the Bioeconomy Ireland Week, our project will offer the opportunity to start-ups to pitch their business ideas to a panel of Irish investors.
But let’ s take a step back, and see why we all need bioeconomy.
It offers society a path to apply knowledge, science, technology and innovation to how we use and consume resources from our soils, fields, forests and seas that respects nature and increases social equality.
The bioeconomy is needed as the world has limited resources and face global challenges like climate change, land and ecosystem degradation, coupled with a growing demand for food, feed, biobased materials and energy.
Join our forces and apply to be selected among start-ups that will pitch their business ideas, sending your pitch at pierre.kerhascoet@bioeconomyfoundation.com
Deadline is 15th of October
