15:15 – 16:30: Guest speakers
Many players from different sectors are already working with flax by-products. Several flax growers share their view on the challenges and possibilities for the sector. Then we let several guest speakers inspire us: Veronique Standaert & Jan Sijnave (ABV), Bart Vandecasteele (ILVO), Prof. Dr. Ir. Frederik Desplentere (KU Leuven), Prof. Dr. Ir. Bert Sels (KU Leuven), Alexander Mijts (VIBE).
16:45 – 18:00: Pitches & Brainstorming
In small groups, we dive deeply into different ways to utilize flax by-products. Are you particularly inspired by one of these applications? Would you like to join others in thinking about the possible bottlenecks and opportunities? Reserve a spot in the session that best matches your interests. After the sessions, we briefly present the preliminary results. You can also present your own expertise. To spark interest in your business case, prepare a short pitch about your (business) activities for the other participants.
18:30 – 20:00: One-on-One Networking
